Huckabee Slams Romney In South Carolina

Gov. Mike Huckabee has a list that he released that involve the Club For Growth raising at least $585,000 for Mitt Romney’s campaign. Club for Growth had came out against Huckabee and what they called his liberal economic ways. Romney might catch some flack for the money raising by the Club for Growth, as he claims to not have special interest money. Romney has stated that he does not expect to win South Carolina, so he is focusing on Nevada which votes on Saturday, along with South Carolina. There are also smear attempts at John McCain that are challenging his stand on abortion and immigration issues. Such as, McCain voting in favor of stem cell research. The South Carolina Democratic primary isn’t until the 26th of January. There is a lot riding on South Carolina for the Republican Candidates. If Fred Thompson doesn’t win, it will probably be the end of his run, the same goes for Huckabee who is looking for viability with a win here. McCain is looking for a win here as well. There hasn’t been a candidate that has lost here in the primary and won the presidency in ages. Ron Paul will probably fair about the same as he has elsewhere. Rudy Giuliani has not done much, if any campaigning in South Carolina, so expect the same kind of performance from him as well. This will be weighed much on the republican side and the winner here will more than likely be considered the front runner.
