Vice-President Romney?

According to Micheal Sneed of the Chicago Sun Times former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is probably going to be Sen. John McCain’s running mate.

Sneed hears rumbles former GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is being touted as John McCain’s veepmate by the top leadership of the National Republican Central Committee — and privately by Dubya’s dad, former President George Herbert Walker Bush.

•   The upshot: Romney wants the job.
