McCain Pulls Ahead Of Clinton and Obama
In an interesting twist, Sen. John McCain has pulled ahead of both Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama in side by side match ups by Zogby and Rasmussen pollsters. This shows that despite the main stream medias effort to ignore John McCain and put Barack Obama on a pedestal, Obama has taken huge blows, from Clinton and from Jeremiah Wright. The Democratic Party assumed that it would have smooth sailing into the White House, and now it appears they are going to not have smooth anything of any kind. According to Larry Kudlow of the National Review Online, there are several reasons for this, and he does hit a few nails on the head.
Has anyone noticed that John McCain is surging in the polls? According to the latest print from Rasmussen and Zogby, McCain now holds a 6 to 8 point lead against Hill-Bama. And I doubt that Senator Obama’s speech yesterday will change anything. It was nothing more than a non-denial denial of his fidelity to Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Wright’s hard-left anti-American agenda.
McCain’s surge means that it is much less likely that Herbert Hoover-style high-tax and trade-protectionist proposals will come from Hill-Bama. This point will not be lost on the stock market.
