Crazed Fan Sends Cindy McCain to Hospital
An overexhuberant supporter of John and Cindy McCain shook Cindy’s hand so hard at a campaign stop in Michigan on Wednesday that she had to go to the hospital for treatment.
With her husband at a mid-day fundraiser in West Bloomfield, McCain was greeting donors when one offered a handshake so vigorous as to exacerbate an ”existing carpal tunnel condition for which she has had previous surgeries,” according to Melissa Shuffield, her spokeswoman.
Hopefully it wasn’t just an excuse to get a new prescription for painkillers. I know, I know, it was just too hard to resist.
