John McCain Picks Sarah Palin for Running Mate
A woman will be on a national ticket for the White House this fall. It just won’t be Hillary Clinton. Republican Presidential nominee John McCain has selected Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska, to be his running mate for Vice President. The news comes from insiders behind the scenes at McCain’s campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio today where he will officially announce the selection in about an hour.
